Also, can you name your State Senators?

2006-08-02 06:30:54 · 17 answers · asked by Finnegan 7 in Politics & Government Politics

As of this writing, out of 16 responses, 8 responders knew and listed their Representatives and 7 did not. One respondent stated simply yes, but did not list anyone. That means a little less than 50% of people here know who their representatives are. While this isn't a terribly scientific survey, I think it still illustrates the need for more involvement in the elective process.

Yep. Although, after learning the name of -my- representative, I went on to learn the names for the rest of the ones in my state. Oh, while we're asking easy questions, I can even name my President, Vice, Sec. of State, Sec. of Defense andSec. of War. Plus a few top politicians that annoy me.

Yes. Yes.
And my Congressmen.
And my mayor.
And my school board representative.
And the name of the lady who empties the trash can in my office.

And guess which one is most important to me?
