I don't smoke very often - like once a week, but I think it should be legalized. You can still function, it improves eye sight (my eye doctor friend told me that), it helps aids patients gain weight, it helps other terminally ill patients cope with the pain..... And it's total crap that it is a gateway drug -- Ive been smoking forever and I don't drink (not a drop) and never lead to anything else.

Don't know of anyone over dosing on weed..they give it to cancer and some eye diseases heck would work with a pot-head then a drunk anyday.I guess everyone has there opinion but not near as many people die from weed as the drunk driver and the people they kill with them w/drunk driving.

I think its pretty harmless for adults who choose to use it,I'd rather meet an oncoming car with a pothead than a drunk behind the wheel too..Never heard of anyone OD'ing on it either..It comes from the earth ,not man made..thats about it..

It's a trap. I smoked it for just over a decade, and subsequently did little else. I'm so glad that is over with. I realize it isn't easy to "wake up" and walk away from it, but it is the best thing I've ever done.

used to smoke, but i stopped. my boyfriend still does. i think it's harmless and should be legal. anyone who is unmotivated has a deeper issue than the fact that they smoke weed. i know lots of people who smoke and have professional jobs. the fact that it's categorized in the same class as heroin is absurd!

I think that it is good for those people who want to slowly drift away from reality, all the while, their brain cells are steadily evaporating into oblivion. All in all, It's not for me, but all the power to those potheads who survive off of ganja bread and bong water.
