My text notification is a wolf whistle. A couple of Christmases ago I went to a Christmas church service, jointly hosted by the local Anglican and Catholic priests. During the Monsignor's blessing my phone started wolfwhistling - and it wouldn't stop. I was in the front row too and could feel every old lady's eyes burning into the back of me, not to mention those of the humourless Monsignor. After the service I beat a hasty retreat, not stopping for the obligatory tea and biccies.
The message? A long-winded 3-parter from my friend, asking if I could get him some good weed... I should be struck down, surely?

Someone had been trying to phone me and I was ignoring the call when about 5 mins later I met her on the street. When she asked me why I hadn't picked up I told her that my battery was flat and right on cue my mobile began to ring. Very embarrassing. I have now learnt how to out the thing onto silent.

When I was leaning across a female patient, it was in the front pocket of my scrubs and on silent. I couldnt move/talk/answer call til I had finished the procedure. Feared I was going to up on charges of indecent assault.

i was in a meeting with my boss and was told not to bring my phone with me, however i still brought it along and forgot to switch it to silent and as i was asked a question in front of many other job seeking clients, off it went with the crazy frog ringtone i was laughed at and made to leave the room! the worst and most embarrasing moment of my life by far!

About 2 minutes after someone said 'can I use your mobile a minute' and I replied 'sorry I don't have it on me'

My phone rang while I was in the classroom, and I have a Nextel phone, so they are REALLY loud. It wasnt the fact that it rang, it was the rigner that I had. LOL!! Had some curse words in it. It was a club type song!

i havent got an embarrasing story but my mom went to a funeral the other day and the vicar had just finisged his sermon when someone got a text and the tone was "thats it!? i think thats what its called

When I was actually on the toilet in the public loos.....'We are Sailing' at full volume. Didn't know where to put my face when I came out--certainly got one or two funny looks.......
