If you have seen both, which one was better and tell me WHY. I've seen POTC II, but never went to see Superman Returns.

You saw the good the one. Superman Returns was better than the other Superman movies - better special effects, darker more complete characters. But after Smallville - where you feel more the comflict and the angst of Clark Kent and believe he can love - the movie is a total disappointment.
But then if you are not into Smallville - see the movie - its got it moments. Maybe get a copy of Superman 2 before seeing - just to remind yourself after 20 years what happened just before the movie.

AWESOME movie = Superman Returns. It brings back the great superhero that once ruled the theatres. A great story line and very touching. Reminds me of the movie 'The Punisher'.
Go see it. I don't want to spoil the movie for you by telling you more.
I loved it though. Pirates of Caribbean is a B- for me. Superman Returns is an A.

Definitely Superman. I liked POTC II but felt like it was just a long trailer. Superman had a lot more plot and action.

Pirates of the Caribbean DMC B/C it was funny, and has better actors. Plus, it is based on real myths from a long time ago. The only bad part about it was that they leave you hangin at the end!!!

I saw both of them and both were rly good. But i definitly know that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 DMC was the best. It is hilarious and it is a very good movie. But it does kinda leave ya hanging at the end but i heard that they filmed the 3rd and the same time they were filming the 2nd one so that is good news.

OH my gosh, Pirates blew so hard! No seriously they opened way too many doors, spread themselves way too thin, and tortured their viewers by not giving us the info of the third pirates. Superman on the other hand was so awesome. Well casted, good acting, speacial effects, plot and character development, etc. Go see Superman! You'll love it.

That's a tough one. I think the plot of Superman was awesome and Lex Luther was really good, but Pirates was good too. I was disappointed when they used jokes from the first movie though. That irritates me.

sofar I'm the opposite, Superman is a must-see, for many reasons... A chunk of history if you like, and its likely to have a sequel so you wouldn't want to miss out on the first part...
I'm not saying it couldn't have been better, but theres suprises you probably should know about in it, and its based on the Christopher Reeves series of films so you can get nostalgic if you wish/liked the old ones or just want to compare...
