first, let me mention that i am all for protecting your skin recommend wearing 50spf sunscreen under this type of clothing – and anytime you are in the sun.

now, if you had access to tan through clothing that would help to reduce tan lines from outdoor activities - i.e., running, biking, swimming - but had the same functionality, look and price as regular active gear would you buy it?

due to the type of answers i'm getting i feel that perhaps i was not clear enough in explaining the purpose of this type of clothing: the reason for wearing this is not to bake in the sun, but rather when you're outside and getting sun is unavoidable anyway, you would wear this over your sunscreen to reduce the stark, ugly tan lines you get from certain sports - cycling / running / hiking, etc..

I understand that you are saying about still wearing sunscreen under the clothes, right?
That being said, then yes, if they were the same price, durability, comfort level. I wouldn't sacrifice those for no tan lines. Who wants to sweat in itchy clothes?
