It is not you. It is the image Americans have of Mexicans. Some people think Mexicans are lazy. Others think they are all illegal and won´t stay around, or they are just temporary and are not really here to stay. I know this is not true. Most Mexicans work hard. Too hard for the little pay they receive in Mexico. I really do not know how they make ends meet.
Good luck in finding a boss that is Mexican or an American that has visited or lived in Mexico that can better understand your need.
You need to sell yourself. Go into the interview Dressed nice and use your best English. Perfection is not necessary. Tell the person that you are reliable and a secure risk and that you plan to pass many years in the company.

I assume the economy is bad in Mexico and that would explain why Mexicans can't get jobs. The question is why is the economy bad in Mexico when the northern part of North America is leading the world. Could it be good leadership without crooks as politicians? Mexico has great natural resources and great potential.

Be sure your English is good: both vocabulary and pronunciation: (it's easy to find someone to help with this.) Dress nicely for a job interview. During the interview, ask a few questions about the job--show some interest. Don't ask about salary or wages until the very last part of the interview--the boss will probably tell you before then. Good luck, amigo!

To the point I would say it might come down to skills. One person is always a bit better equipped than another. Could be language, appropo job skill, education, it just depends on many things.
I had no idea Mexicans were having a problem finding a job.

It isnt for mexicans to get jobs........ its is just that some spicks would rather sit around having sex and kids and buying cars they cant afford and make taxes raise.... and then when they wanna get a job with no education documentation of residency or the ability to speak english and cant get one they have to cry racism..... i have no problem with hispanics....... the problem with spicks is that they feel like since they made it over the border they deserve a prize........ I live in texas and it is hard to get a job for anybody becuase of the spicks in texas..... they allow themselves to be used as cheap labor and do not say anything about it..... and the other ones that find them selves to good to work for low wages refuse to better themselves to be able to get good jobs...... it is not that hispanics can not get jobs it is that they simply do not push themselves because they feel they can be lazy and continue to live off of hard working indiviuals..... and for those hard working hispanics out there i apoligize for these remarks but i feel that it is time that you let the people of your race that do not step up and make their lives better in america that until they better themselves people will not respect the hard working hispanics of america..... again i am not racist against hispancis....... i simply despise those who do not do what it takes to be a strong memeber of america then complain and ask why when they cannnot even speak english....

Ummmmm, come to Long Island. Mexicans are the only people who actually do any work around here. Hardest working sons-of-guns I have ever met.
God bless them all! And I mean that sincerly!
