Here is the problem. Fat 32 will not support large drives. So you can format into FAT 32 but you will not get all the drive space available. Why would you want to switch to FAT 32? NTFS is for large drives.
If you still want to do it. Insert your windows XP cd. Restart the machine. Let the machine boot from disk. The NT loader will then boot up. Then just follow the instructions on screen. It will give you an option that says Reinstall windows. Click that and it will ask you to format or copy over. Good luck.

There is no other way other than reformat your hard disk and reinstall your OS. You can actually try to boot using a bootable XP installer and from there you can format and install your HD. That's the easiest way. I
f you don't have a bootable window xp, then you can try create a rescue disk or a bootable disk first. Include CD rom and mouse driver support in the rescue/bootable disk. Then you boot using the rescue/bootable disk. Try to go into DOS prompt. Then insert your Win XP cd into the cdrom and try to access your cd drive using dos prompt. By default your cdrom should be "D:\" once there you can access the setup file inside the cd and install your Win Xp as usual.
Good luck

formatting to another format is so simple.. jus right click on the drive from "my computer" and click on option format.. and select the type to fat 32.. but if ur program files are there in c drive beware.. formatting may stop ur computer from working.. and ntfs is the advanced type thatn fat32 so fat 32 is more advisable.

Reformat and start over. The convert command will go from FAT to NTFS, not the other way around.

Then continue your process...!

Why on earth would you want to do that? If I were you I'd convert the other drives to NTFS instead if possible. Good luck!
