because during all wars prior to Vietnam the media and the home base 99% of the American populace supported American war effort.
Now you have media, and liberals putting their agenda ahead of victory. You have people like yourself or Jane Fonda (BY THE WAY WHEN JANE FONDA GREW UP SHE VASTLY REGRETTED HER ACTIONS AND APOLOGIZED TO THE VIETNAM SOLDIERS WHO WERE SPIT ON AND DEGRADED FOR JUST DOING THEIR JOB!)
the libs hamstring the war effort with their rhetoric it shows weakness and disharmony and dis-union . The terrorists feed on that it gives them false hope.
We needed to be united in our war effort and support the war effort. YOU libs are encouraging the Iraq inserection with every one of your divisive posts. You give them false hope which perpetuates and lengthens the war and causes needless deaths on both sides. Your Anti-American rhetoric costs Us soldiers lives.

bloake's response --- the repubs and dems voted for war. Which is the right choice. To pull out signals weakness. Look what happend to israel they pulled their army out of lebanon years ago. they debated and rightly feared that by pullling their troops out the arabs would see it as victory and attack ISRAEL directly. They were right the arabs were not content with what they had or the agreemnets they had they were not appeased. Nazi like people can never be appeased, It only wets their appeitite for more. So they lob rockewts into israel and dig tunnels into their country to kid nap and murder people. SO you think we should GIVE UP in iraq!!!!! That would be the rally of
evey jihadist on the planet and signal a new battlefront....I think you know where that would be.
Victory can only be attained through strength and unity.

RESPONDING TO my valid QUESTION/DEBATE by calling the person asking the question names displays childishness and lack of IQ and inability to put forth a good response. Attacking the asker of a valid question means you know I'm right. So anyone that called me an Ahole without response know in their heart that their liberal rhetoric is costing US lives but they put politicals
first.

Yes ! They are more responsible than most people realize.I would spit in Fonds face if I had the chance. She was responsible for many GI deaths ,along with all the other flag burners.I lost a friend in Vietnam and had a chance to see his name on the wall. But remember most of these people reading this have not or will not serve their country.I'm proud to be a Vet. and would serve again if it weren't for my age .I enlisted the first time into the Navy.

In wars prior to Vietnam information to the people was scarce. Today we live in a modern world where information is forced down our throats. I don't want to start a personal sparring session between us, but you need to realize that liberals did not start the war in Iraq. George Bush and his chronies with their personal agendas did!
Remember the UN inspector Hans Blix insisted in all his reports there were no WMDs in Iraq and even to this date none has been found. Bush started this war on a lie, so do not go pointing fingers at liberals. How can you call someone who is defending their country on their home turf a terrorist? Why are they not soldiers? The Iraquis did not attack or invade America, it's the other way around. Do you know that your forefathers who landed at Plymouth Rock and murdered the Indians that housed and fed them were terrorists? Yes this great land of America was founded on terrorism. Terrorists from Europe! Get your facts right and know who the real cause of the war and hatred for America is. That's right take a long hard look and you would see the LIARS in Washington!
It is a damn shame when people like you go around jumping on the conservative band-wagon and point fingers at liberals and democrats when you are failing at all the bungles and lies you embarked upon. Take a look at Louisiana and you would see first hand the failures of the Bush administration!

I can't even fathom the length to which you're clearly reaching trying to pin not only the war, but specific deaths on liberals. It was Bush who chose to go to war and Bush who keeps us there. Period. How dare you hurl Anti-American accusations at people you don't even know. Most of us DO support our troops in that we hope for their safe and swift return and pray for the well being of their families in their absence. HOWEVER, we do not support the war in Iraq. I would fully support a war with the people who were responsible for 9/11 - not Iraq - and that seems to be a point which conservative thinking can not comprehend. Why don't you try doing some reading and researching on your own? Clearly by the way your question is phrased and the pathetic attempt at linking your points, it is YOU who have fallen victim to the media.

So if I just shut my yap, are the insurgents going to start using nerf bullets and IEDs with marshmallow creme inside? Do you think any of those guys gives a solitary s**t what ANY American thinks about them?
The only thing anti-war rhetoric hurts is the chances for Haliburton to make another billion dollars off of this war and the re-election bids of every midterm Republican. I think that's the real reason you're mad.

I doubt that the liberals are as responsible for loss of life in the manner that conservatives are. It was after all, the conservatives who believed all of Bush's lies put forth to start a useless war in the first place. It is the conservatives who cheered on the attack of another nation that never attacked, threatened to attack or had the capability to attack the US. So, I find it difficult to believe that liberals, who didn't want to start said bogus war, who recognize that men, women and children are dying for no good damn reason at all and who want this useless engagement to end, are responsible in any way for the casualties you suggest they are.

YOUR anti-American Right Wing rhetoric is costing us lives.
This is an intersting peice of propaganda you got there. You forgot one thing,TO INCLUDE FACTS.
-Bush doesnt know foreign policy from his rear end.And it shows.
-More Americans have learned the hard way from Vietnam
-Republicans have flatly refused to do anything unionize Americans.
-Jane Fonda was right in 2005.Conservatives choosing war as a first resort, mismanaged as hell, and most of it on loan from CHINA of all places, has given us an American legacy of a disproportionate number of young dead poor and a legacy of violence inside this country as well as out.
Why arent you just honest enough to admit what you want is to sit in your chair in front of the tv and watch destruction and war as a form of entertainment? If this sloppy war costing us $213Million a week is so good SHUT UP AND GO FIGHT.
I didnt think so.Chickenhawk Faux "news" watcher.

I'm not into that Liberal Conservative debate but i blame both parties for the situation we are in. The Republicans for wanting this war more than anybody & the Democrats for lacking guts to vote against it but now are crying about that they where misled which is such bull.

Actually most liberals want the military to pull-out of Iraq and Afghanistan. It's the conservatives who want them to stay, so I think they are more to blame.
