im about to start my 2nd year in college and my major is marketing with a minor in communication. i just wanted to know what careers can i build from this major. And what job would i be able to get when i am finished with school?

Your future is wide open. You can go into television or radio, Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Insurance, teaching, Board of Realtors, etc. I could go on and on. Don't dismiss any opportunity without thinking it through first. It may not be what you planned, but it could be exactly what you want.

You can work in MARKETING or market research, or public relations. Start looking for jobs during senior year, you should be fine.

Well -- I suspect you might be able to get a job in marketing.

You are actually majoring in a field where there are jobs.

if i was you i would try to find a career in a hospital they have awsome benefits and pay really good money . but i must compliment you on getting a degree . i wish i would have stuck with it . you are going to have a great futture and good luck in all you do .

you can be a disk jockey just like Angie Martinez and Wendy Williams since you are minoring in communication.

You can do Advertising, PR, Journalism, open your own business etc.
