Not when you've already dropped leaflets over the city telling them exactly what you are going to do and when, and warning them to get the heck out......

No. From 50,000 feet you don't even know if there is anyone in the area. At that range you are aiming at something generally much larger and probably thought of as being of military signifigance. That being the case the civilians are classed as collateral damage.

On the other hand if you set out to set off a bomb in the middle of some market place and there isn't much if any military presence. Your object is to kill whoever is unlucky enough to be in the area. There is no military signifigance and the goal is to cause chaos and fear. That is terrorism.

Of course it is. But here in America, the general rule is if it is backed by US dollars, it is heroism, backed by fighting for freedom and heart, terrorism, haven't you fallen victim to the propaganda yet? Better hurry and jump on the bandwagon, or you yourself will be deemed a supporter of terrorism. What a wonderful country, huh?

Well, it's terrible. But I think the distinction is terrorists mean to kill innocent people. If you are referring to the Israelis, they are fighting the Hezbollah, which I think it is fair to say is a terrorist orginization. The Israelis' intent is not to kill innocent people but to get the terrorists. That's difficult to do precisely from 50,000 ft., which is why they are risking more Israeli lives in a ground war. If the Israelis were really terrorists, they wouldn't have to risk any Israeli soldiers, they'd just flatten Lebanon with their air force.

No. What kind of a question is this anyway - you haven't provided enough information to get a decent answer. Was the family firing rockets into israel or preparing homemade bombs in fallujah?

In the case of Isreal, I think they are being terrorists and are completely unjustified. I also believe the US was unjustified inthier actioins against Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Us is just as made as the rest of them

No, if you tell them quite some time to get out of town, first. No, if you do it for the sake of freeing your own people from captivity. No, if you do it to protect you people from those who've repeatedly said they'd like to drive you and your people into the sea.

Yes, if you do it out of the blue. Yes, if you do it as retaliation for the retaliation for you capturing the enemy's people. Yes, if you do it to drive a group of people into the sea.
