As Far Specs Go The XboX Is Better Hands Down...As Far As Games the PlayStation 2 Is Better..Both Consoles Have There Pros And Cons.......But For Me It Has To Be XboX Because The Halo Series !!

X-Box has superior graphic capability than the PS2. Online gaming is also more advanced. On the other hand, the game catalog pretty much resembles what's on PC
Playstation 2 has many more games, it's retro compatible with the PS1, and it has also a wider variety of game genres, appealing much more to console fans.
I'm a console fan, so i believe the PS2 is better. If you are into PC gaming and just want to do it on your tv, then the X-box would be better for you

I think they both play about the same but it seems like to me that x-box is more durable, I had both for a while and my ps2 broke in like 3 months, still have my x-box though, its been running strong for like 2 years now. Also x-box has built in hard drive so you dont have to buy any memory cards, ps2 doesnt have hard drive.

PS2 is probably better because it has a wider collection of games to chose from. The Xbox has a better harddrive, graphics, etc... It all depends on your taste. Personally PS2.

Definitely the xbox!! The games are much smoother, load times are shorter, and the online system is easier and a lot more fun. also, you can mod the xbox for cheap.... i recommend that so you can make copies of your games (legally) and also turn your xbox into a media machine -- mine is loaded with music and movies I ripped from CD's and DVD's and when I have people over we sit down and entertain ourselves for hours and never have to wait for stuff to load. I am a ps2 fan to da heart love the games, the controller is nice small and easy to use not to many buttons and it doesn't take up too much space

i think the playstation is better, its not as high tech, and difficult, but if you like the computer style or the high tech stuff, then you should go with the x box!!

You have to go with PlayStation2 and the new one coming out. Always go with the system with the most games. PS2 rules!
