I started when i was in 3rd grade. I think u should start wearin bras though.

I was 10, but I really didn't need one yet. Even if you don't need a bra, it's okay to wear one. That's what training bras and sports bras are for. If YOU think you are ready, then by all means, you should, especially if you need one. There is no "right age" to start wearing a bra.

Well I started in 4th grade so I was 9 but everyone develops differently. Maybe you could get a training bra and then when u are ten get a real one. Listen to your grandma though because she utimately makes the choice

Whenyour breast start to grow in i started wearing them when I was 9 now i'm in a K i need a reduction to a size dd-40 i'm 16. I'm too short to have big breast like this. I also have to my bras made I can't go to stores and just get a bra. So when you start getting breast. I'm 5 foot and 16.

When your "lovely lady lumps" are at a size where the need to be supported,get one.If you think that YOU are ready for a bra,then try some on!

I can understand your grandma's hesitation... especially if you are not developed enough to really need one yet. You're very young and perhaps she thinks it is too soon to worry about your sexuality if you don't need to.... I would tend to agree.
If you really feel you need one (are boys making fun of you?)... maybe your grandma would be willing to consider a sports bra for you. Sort of a half way point...

Honey, you need to wear a bra when you have something to put in them! I was 9 when i had my first training bra. You dont need to be huge to have one either. Go get yourself sized by a proffesional somewhere like la senza. Good luck!

i was 10 when i wore a training bra but to start wearing a bra u have to have sumthing to put in them so wait until ur like 12
