You are talking to the Queen of Coach Bags! And let me just say this - a Coach bag is an investment! $240 is never too much to splurge on a handbag that brings you happiness. The thing is, you said that you have little money but feel you deserve to buy something nice for yourself. I would buy the bag as long as it doesn't jeopardize your finances in any negative way. You could always consider finding a Coach Outlet - the prices are sometimes cheaper because of outlet prices. You could also try E-bay...you can still splurge without spending a lot. But if you really want this bag and won't feel guilty buying it, then do it. You only live once! Btw, which one is it? :D

Do you really need it? Come on I know you work hard, but i would spend it on a few other things and not one purse. I mean sure every girl has to have a purse but $240. I think you could deal with one for $50 that should b ur limit. I know we all need to splurge every now and then but a handbag i dont think is worth your splurge since you work only part time and maybe only bring that ome every two weeks or so. But its up to u Im meerly stating my opinion on the matter and what i would do. Good luck in ur decision

$240 isnt that bad for a Coach, but I suggest a cheaper selection. There are other nice, high quality brands for cheaper, like at Marshall Fields (if you are looking for a quality, dept. store quality purse).
I have a few Coach purses and I have used them very little. Luckily they were a gift. So dont spend money on something you may not use for long.

Yeahh. There have been a couple Coach purses, that I've wanted SO bad, but I think it's INSANE to spend THAT much money on a purse. The most I've ever paid, and ever plan on paying for a purse is $50.

I love Coach purses, I have a couple myself and I have to be honest I bought them because I was a little sad and I needed a pick me up.

umm well i really like banana republic and i bought a purse there for 20 that looks identical to this one a coach so i say hold out and look for sales at other places you will regret it if you buy the purse.

Wasting money on doodads is one of the biggest differences between those who will one day be rich and those who won't. If you want an item like that, figure out a way to generate money for such things, first. And no, begging for it from your rich boyfriend is not an acceptable way of doing this.

$240 for a bag? That's insane! You could save it and go skiing for a weekend when the snow flies. Only 3 more months!!!!
