When I try to sign out, I get directed back to the login page to re-enter my password. This happens every time with Firefox. With Internet Explorer, there are no problems, and when I click on "sign out" , it really does sign me out.
Any ideas out there?

Clear the browser cache. See if it helps, Otherwise use IE.

You did, in fact, log out. Closing Yahoo will also log you out. If you don't care for the way firefox operates (and I don't) try Opera.

It's OK! The fact that you are presented with a screen inviting you to Log IN implies that you have indeed been logged out.

then try using IE atleast only for ur yahoo acct.

Hmmmm .... Don`t use FireFox then.
