I would start out with rose pedals all over the room and lead by date to the candle lighted table and pull her chair out for her to be sitted. ask if she woukd care for a nice glass of wine and have some good chat of anything and everything and maybe if I am lucky things get real romantic and I might just get lucky.

Well...there wouldnt be any children...thats for sure!

For me, my romantic date hasnt happened yet...HA. The most romantic to me is not what most people want. I want a picnic dinner, NOT made by me, and to drive somewhere to look at stars and eat and dance to some music on a CD that has some sexy music on it. Again, all of it would have to be planned by my hubby NOT ME.

Maybe thats the key when you are married, its romantic when it isnt planned by you...and so far, that hasnt happened.

By your screen name I would gather that you are in my same spot, a mother of 4. Any time with your husband without the kids is romantic time so make the most of it. It can be as simple as having a drink, just the 2 of you in the backyard.

A dinner at a hole-hole-in-the-wall place somewhere along the beach. Followed by a walk on the beach. Then a rich dessert at someplace different.

Then maybe a candle lit bath.

Yeah, I could go for that.

Taking a picnic out in a little rowing boat in the gloaming of a warm June evening, with candles lighting the scene, and mooring out in midstream... then cracking a bottle of chablis and sitting back to enjoy sweet words and gestures.
