I think that they generate many of the questions on this site. Look at all of the spelling errors...I can understand an occasional "typo" here and there, but much of the spelling to some questions is insane! One may argue that someone with Alzheimer's is typing the questions and forgot how to spell, but I would argue that this person would also forget his password in that case.
Also, some of the questions are ridiculous...you can typically tell when a child is asking a question because the question typically goes something like this (but often with worse spelling and grammar):
--Is my avatar cute/nice/hot? (Typically the avatar displayed is a cartoon...most people are not attracted to what is essentially a drawing! And even if it's not, what does it matter?!)
--Who do you think will win the World Cup? (At least, that one was asked 4,275,654,940,159 times before Italy won...it's not so common now, but you can cetainly tell a child is asking it when it is asked now as the World Cup is over...)
So, I think that children often pollute this website with useless questions and terrible grammar. However, the worst thing about them using this site is viewing what some of the adults type. Some of that material is very inappropriate for children!

In some ways, kids are a lot smarter than a lot of the people on here. They share their information that they just learned in school, and I can tell you, that I don't ask any "annoying questions" as stated by one of the responders to this question. I'm guessing that most of the people on Yahoo! Answers are kids, so if we weren't allowed to go on here (although you're supposed to be 16 to go on MySpace, but almost all my friends have an account), then it would not be a good website. Just look at my answers and questions, then tell me if you think that I'm asking annoying questions, and if I'm wasting peoples time by getting best answers more than 1/3 of the time!!!!!

It's fine when they're doing age appropriate Q&A's. However, I think that parents should be aware that they are using Yahoo Answers, as there is a lot of stuff on here I wouldn't want my child to see (if I had one).

I'd be a little worried about some of the sicko questions/answers they might see, but on the other hand, it's probably no worse than they hear on the school bus every day, and there's the chance that here, they might learn something useful.

I think it's scary. I'm sure that some of them are truly seeking answers and there are these people who say very ugly and uncalled for things to them. But on the other hand, there are some of them who say things to intentionally get people going which is also wrong. It's a no-win situation.

I think there should be a limit...I think that adults should have their own Q & A collums. And kids under age 19 should have their own...
maybe there should be a secure code or something for adults only...you know like a parental lock code..

I think they should be out doing kid things, like playing video games... hehe. They also need to learn to use the Check Spelling feature here.

If I had kids, I wouldn't let them. The internet would off limits too(unless I was sitting next to them)

They make me laugh, but some of us adults should set better examples and not ask so many X rated questions....in the wrong sections
