I am waiting for the full story on Mel Gibson's foot in mouth anti-semetic episode but the guy proclaims to be such a Christian and then does this? Why would I want to support such a hypocrite? I have heard that his latest project is supposed to have something to do with the holocaust but I guess he has now shown his true colors.
I will turn off the radio when Madonna songs come on. She has a good voice but her personality stinks. I refuse to listen to Paris Hilton's latest song. Can't stand it. I am sure I am influenced by her idiotic behavior.
I realize that there are a lot of idiots out there in the entertainment industry. But some of them really stand out with regards to their lack of humanity and I can choose who I support with my entertainment fund. Do you ever do this?

Unless the artistic capabilites of the performer in question are strong enough to overshadow any percieved anomalies in their behaviour. I never felt averse to Michael Jackson's songs in spite of the whole world crying hoarse about his various eccentricities; but yes, I find Himesh Reshamiya's attitude deplorable...and hence refuse to listen to his music.

Yup! I refuse to buy or wear anything Tommy Hilfiger because of statements I heard he made about minorities wearing his brand. I do believe that you are who you support because these people are making it big because of us going to watch their movies, buying their CDs, etc. We keep their fan base alive in other words. W/O us, they really would become nothing eventually.

Yes, I agree. The same has happened to me with several actors and singers. I used to love Tom Cruise as an actor but now I see him and don't even want to watch his movies anymore.

yup....I agree with it entirely...
used to like Scott Stapp until that show where he was drunk, rolled on the stage and the show was cancelled...
never hear their songs ever again...without thinking of this and ultimately switching them off

if i did that ..........i wouldn't have much entertainment in my life . most entertainers do things of which i dont approve . as long as they dont take it too far , and keep us entertained ...........i could care less what they do at home or elsewhere .............
