I actually just read this in a magzine and it said 88% of men stay home the following day. My guy did.

Im pretty sure alot of men do, especially if they were up all night supporting there wives through the labor, Im sure they eventually went home to sleep. So I think it would be good to say that about 99% of men did take that first day off. My guy went back to work the following day.

In our company 100% of fathers take the week off following the birth...77% take two weeks off...

I would say most men do!

Of course, if thier Company doesnt "give" them the time off, or thier job is so important, that they are needed, (and that plain ol sucks), then they may not be able to do this...

It depends on the Company they work for, and what thier rules and regulations and medical leave policy is...

my hubby took two weeks off after the birth of our twins.. his work had no problem with it!
