Choose your battles. Is an agrument worth fighiting? That goes for a relationship, work, school, friends etc. Somethings just aren't worth arguing about, so you get to choose is it worth an argument. Is it truly worth an argument he left the toilet seat up? Is it truly worth an argument she's on the phone when you get home etc.

Honesty is the best policy, everything in a relationship is based upon honesty and trust. If you guys don't posses those with one and other then I don't think it will work.

Learn to love yourself before you start loving other people. You alone set the standard for how other people are going to treat you.

The amount of people on Yahoo Answers (and other places) who have no self-love or self-esteem is astonishing. And sad.

Don't seek to change someone you like, Find someone who fits your lifestyle. We only have the power to change ourselves. Also, if he don't treat you like a queen consistently dump him like a bad habit!! Best of luck...
