I would have to say Vernon Davis of the 49ers......49ers were horrible last year, so if he does good, we'll all notice it.

there will be a few; I'm sure Reggie Bush will be an impact player, but not sure how far into the season before that happens.
I agree that Vernon Davis should pay immediate dividends and help out a struggling QB in Alex Smith.
Joseph Addai of the Colts will almost certainly be an offensive impact.
Lendale White and Deangelo Williams may have a chance to shine if their oft-injured starters falter. (same for Laurence Maroney and Maurice Drew).
The young QB's will probably have less of an immediate impact. I'd take Leinart over Young if your looking for someone who will step in this year.

AJ Hawk, LB out of Ohio St - drafted with the No. 5 pick in the first round by the Green Bay Packers... the Packers' defense improved mightily last year (though the 4-12 record did not reflect it...) and they were somewhere in the top ten overall - I believe 7th in total yards allowed. They have upgraded quite a few positions, adding veteran DB Charles Woodson from Oakland. Now they have some studs at linebacker, mainly Hawk and fellow Big Ten standout LB Abdul Hodge out of Iowa - so the Packers should be solid defensively, which will allow Hawk to make a big impact right away...

Joseph Addai of the Indianapolis Colts will make the biggest impact this year.
Addai is playing with the best offense in the league. Dominic Rhodes is not going to keep his starters job, and that opens up the opportunity for Addai to come in and contribute. Remember what Edgerrin James did when he first came in? He lead the league in rushing with 1553 yards. Addai isn't as pure a rusher as James, but he has the receiving skills and deep speed that the Edge never had. Expect huge numbers from Addai.
Hope that helps.
Go Colts!

Vernon Davis--He is fast as a RB, huge as an ox, and has hands like a WR.
Reggie Bush will have some impact, but not a huge one. He will get about 500 yards.
Lawrence Maroney-He is super fast and pretty big. Could take Corey Dillon's spot on the Patriots.
Garrett MIlls-TE for the Patriots. All American and great work ethic. He will get about 700 yards.

Chad Jackson for the Patriots. He will have a chance to start and with Brady getting him the ball, you can expect big numbers from this rookie receiver.

reggie bush. this guy is special and could be the next barry sanders. he can run inside and run outside. he can carry a team and win a game like he did against fresno st. he is also an excellent kick returner and punt returner. he will ruch for at least 1,200 yards as well as make an impact on kick returns and punt returns and possible return a punt or two for touchdowns. new orleans has a special player in reggie bush, players like bush are franchise players.

Vince Young no doubt. Reggie will do ok as well. But Vince will make an immediate impact as long as he gets the ball in his hands.

DeAngelo Williams - RB for Carolina. Deshaun is just held together by Band-Aids, he'll be gone by week 2, allowing DeAngelo to come in and run the show from then on.
