Well this is your sons special day, so I would respect his wishes. I am sure your girlfriend is nice and means no harm, but it would probably be best she not go in the first place. She will only feel unwelcoming vibes if you insist that she goes, not necessarily from the ex-wife and the kids, but from others who don't know the
situation at hand.
I am sure your son is aware of the possible tension that could be in the air, so he figures it would be best not to invite your girlfriend. So as hard as it is, I know, respect his wishes because no one wants tension on their wedding day. It is already a stressful/beautiful day and the last thing you want to do is add to the stress.

Well it is your son's wedding. Plus it is not cool to bring a girlfriend to a wedding if your ex-wife is there even if they get a long. Just respect your son wishes. He just needs time to tolerate your girlfriend.

either respect your son's wishes or don't go it's that simple . She is just a girlfriend he is your son his feelings should come first and if she can't be understanding of that then maybe you need a new girlfriend. Many children feel that only their real mother and father should share their special day with them.

Talk to your son and your ex-wife. It's his wedding, so if he insists she not be there, you must adhere to his wishes. But you don't necessarily have to be there or give financial support to the event either.

It is HIS wedding and you should allow it to be the way he wants it. I am sure your girlfriend will understand and if she doesn't then you need to really look at your relationship.

because it is his wedding day i would respect his wishes, but you definitely need to talk to him, i don't agree with him and this could lead to him not wanting your girlfriend at other special occasions and it's not fair to her.
