i have a ps2. i want to change to xbox. is this a good idea? do i keep both or leave one.

Depends on what type of games you like to play.
If you want a wide selection of everything, leser graphics, stay with your ps2. It has many more titles and in my opinion, better titles.
If you are a big fan of Racing, FPS, or sports games, get an xbox. It has a wide variety of those types of games as well as some other great hits, but not many "must have" titles. It also has Xbox Live if you are willing to pay to play online. Live is a great service to do so and adds a lot to online games as far as competition goes.
Xbox is also easy to mod, meaning you can set it up to play emulators as well (Mine is a full arcade).
So it really is based on what you want to play, I use my ps2 far more than my xbox but I enjoy them both!

No. PS2 is a much wiser choice, if you ask me. Xbox is fine for a 10 year old who doesn't real know/care about the quality of the system or the games. The Japanese have been doing games for decades longer then Microsoft, that's why you'll notice the Xbox has a lot of "bugs." Not saying the PS2 is flawless at all, but comparitivly speaking...

It is always good to have both, however, the Xbox would be great. A lot the games are becoming cheaper faster because of the 360. I have a PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, and Xbox 360 and I switch between them constantly. Get all you can!!!

Xbox is really good. You can save music in it, no need for memory cards it has a built in harddrive. Better graphics for games. Halo 1 and 2. GTA series has better graphics and can play ur music u put in ur Xbox! Better online play. What can I say more?

KEEP PS2 BECAUSE IT IS MORE REALISTIC AND HAS LESS BUTTONS TO PRESS THAN YOUR XBOX
