I am planning a house and want to know what a typical American should be.
Do you know what a living room size in your house is - or your friends /relatives house?
CAn you please measure if you don't know and tell me?
how big is the house it self.
For a 2900 Sq Ft house what do you think is an ideal size?

My house is approx 1400 sq ft. The living room is about 12' x 20'. I also have a front room that acts as a second living room with no TV; it is about 12'x12'

My house is 1100 sq ft and my LR is 22X14. It's big enough for all my furniture, but I'd rather my LR not be so narrow, though...

My house is approx. 2700 Sq ft. and the living room is 14X16. I hope that helps.

the bigger the better mine is so small I can barely walk around my stuff and forget having people over there's no room except on the couch or sit on the side tables no room for kids to play and wrestle
