Solar energy isn't the storage of light. It is the storage of heat and light energy. Very different thing.

Light has the properties of a particle and a wave. The particles of light are called photon. The problem is that they are constantly traveling at the speed of light. It has been possible to hold a few particles in stasis for a short period of time, but not indefinitely. Just not possible yet.

Light is made from heat and energy.We can store energy and heat from light like Solar energy.Light is considered to be a particle.

I'm not positive of the extent to which light is used, but dvd's, cd's and really all forms of photography and video media is to some extent the storage of light particles. The original photographs and video were nothing more than a shadowy figure being displayed due to light being emitted around him/her.

Its energy can be converted and stored, as in photosynthesis (ATP storage) or solar cells (electrical storage) or heat (passive solar panels to heat water).

it is storable.. it's called solar energy.

via the solar technology we use.

and through other sources i'm not aware of right off hand.
