Okay I have a question, If I use a calling card from my cingular telephone and dial the 800 number for the calling card , then , when I am asked to dial in the number I am calling....my question is Can that number I called be seen on the statement...??not the 800 number but the number I dialed.?

MY teenage daughter does'nt think so ...but I'm not so sure.

Basically, She bought a card, dialed the 800 number and called someone using the card. I want to know what the number she called was......I'm curious. We'll all know in about 3 1/2 weeks...does anyone out there know???

The person that answered first is incorrect. If you use a calling card (from any phone) and the card is one that you have purchased from let's say WalMart...then the only number that will appear on the statement is the 1-800 number or the initial access number dialed. To obtain the number called you would have to find out from the Calling Card Issuing company. Their number is located on the back of the card.

If you have a cellphone that needs a calling card to dial out, the situation might be different, but if it's a general calling card used to avoid paying long distance or international charges then the number will not be on your statement. Note, you are still being charged airtime for the call...just not the long distance or international rates.
