I'd like to try running a seasonal fruit stand business and would like any useful information or suggestions?

My suggestion... Make the stand colorful enough to catch peoples eye and remember location---location---location is very important! Your gonna depend on that lunch rush so, offer fresh smoothies or coffee too. Get your fresh fruit daily, slightly unripe so that it can have a chance to ripen while waiting for sales and It will last longer in the summer heat if you keep it in a cooler. Even though a business like that is a cash business,make sure you go to the local health department and ask what permits or regulations it takes to run it.Don't forget that Uncle Sam wants his share too. Go to www.irs.gov and download the Tax Payer ID form for your number. Good luck.
