she is 10 weeks old,breastfed but has tried some formula recently when i had to leave her with someone in a hurry.. i got expressed milk out of freezer to thaw but it started to leak out of the bag,hence the formula.. anyway,just wondered if anyone else has some ideas to put my mind at rest. cheers

Formula fed babies often have green poo. Did you start your baby on formula recently?
Newborn babies often have a strange kind of poo called "meconium" which is sort of dark.

I guess the alternative is that you might be feeding your baby something green

i think it may be bile.
I advise that you read up on it, I dont want to give the wrong information.
I think alot of babies have it, something to do with the gall bladder, dont worry though. I think it may be his/her body starting to get used to life and bodily functions

It's from what you are feeding him! Mine turns green from drinking grape juice!
