Its been happening to my cousin but its not like a full period just a kinda brownish/reddish discharge that lasts a day or two....

I also know of someone who continued to have a 'period' and only found out after 5months that she was pregnant. she went on to have her healthy baby

She is 3months pregnant and worried

It could be cervical erosion, meaning the cells of the cevix have been roughend, (sex can do that, but its external and not related to the pregnancy) the hormones could also cause it. wouldnt hurt toi get it checked out, might be placenta previea,
(low placenta) which will need sorting out, they give you whats called a purse stitch across the cervix to prevent losing blood, water..and baby...any bleeding should be checked, always.

sometimes its just left oiver blood from previous periods, anything brown is not a threat, but RED is

Ive heard of woman having bleeding around the time their period is due, or if no bleeding then getting period like pains. She should see the midwife just to be on the safe side, not all bleeding in pregnancy is bad news.

I bled until I was like 5 months pregnant during my second pregnancy and my daughter turned out perfect. My first and third pregnancies,I never bled and they were also perfect. I think some people just bleed while others don't.

I've heard of a woman bleeding every month just the same then having stomach cramps then giving birth. how scary must that of been, not even knowing. If she's worried tho, tell her go docs to get checked. hope all is well.

For some women yes it can be normal, but the best the thing for her to do, is to talk to her doctor, have a checkup, just to be safe. If she starts having any kind of pain, see doctor ASAP.

I have heard of it before. My husband's nan told me she continued to have periods throughout all of her pregnancies. I agree withthe first answer though, she should definitely mention it at her next check up!!
