What you are describing is a combination of submissive behaviour and masochism. I don't know exactly what you might consider odd, so I'll try to explain with other terms.
Is it mainstream? Not really, but it is on the fringes of mainstream.
Is it perverted? Absolutely not. You're not doing anything that non-consensual.
Is it a mental disorder? Nope. While it may have been in the past considered by the psychological profession as one, they have changed their definitions and no longer consider this as a disorder.
Is it healthy? Depends. Some people would go into the same activity with the idea of atoning for some past action, but that's a small minority. Since you seem to derive pleasure and not absolution from guilt, it would be healthy for you.
People have their sexual natures defined not only through a combination of genetics and nurturing, but by choice as well. Lots of people will not want anything to do with what you like. However, many others are willing to participate on either one side or the other, and both sides for some. I suppose that the best way to describe you is that you are not alone in these desires.
