Because it was a slow news day - and also because he is successful. For some people, they only want to bring you down. I'd love to know what the cops said, because I'll bet you he was provoked.

Why is Gibson important at all? Hopefully with this last escapade he will disappear altogether.
But I guess that when someone whom others (God help them) look up to makes racist and anti Semitic statements, tries to intimidate the Police by showing that he is a legend in his own mind (he told them he was the King of Malibu and owned it so they were going to pay for their misbehavior in stopping him) then people have right to know what is going on. In particular when someone like this, who has all the advantages that anyone could wish for, abuses the privileges which are given to him; when he spouts off about how holy he is (he's a Catholic and going to heaven; the Jews are going to hell), then we should all be interested in ensuring that he gets no 'special' treatment. Remember also that he is a favored son of the Catholic Church having been lauded by the Pope, no less, for his Passion of the Christ. As Gibson is a raving anti-Semitic then does this not confirm that the Catholic Church is also. Gibson has made his views public on many occasions and the Catholic Church is a supporter of his. Maybe this also confirms what we all suspected about the Catholic Church when they did nothing to stop the Holocaust - which Gibson and his father say either didn't happen or was over rated.
But Melanie will get special treatment because his **** doesn't stink. Because poor old Mel should be forgiven everything including the fact that he is the biggest a..wipe around.

So the bullies have much less issues to %. on you approximately. i did no longer hassle approximately mine in extreme college, and the youngsters could make exciting of me for that and because i'm an odd baby. Because stupid people (of which there are many) spend their money buying toilet paper gossip rags and watch those stupid shows about "celebrities". The media is a business, and they go where the $$$ is.

It's trival gossip, but it also suggest a long-suspected hatred of Jewish people, which is noteworthy to some due to his religious thoughts and movies and whatnot.
