If you resolved your issue with this girl and you are happy with the way it all worked out, then I think your friends should be happy for you.
HOWEVER, if they really have strongs feelings about you not hanging with this girl, then perhaps you should listen to what they have to say. You may have blinders on when it comes to her. Your friends who have the outside perspective may have a better idea of what's really going on. Take what they have to say into consideration and go from there...

The first question is why don't your friends like her and my suggestion to follow that is who cares what they think. Friends aren't there to tell you who can and can't be your friend and if so then they aren't your friends. Don't let them control you like that
