Brett Favre was one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. Unfortunately he is like the host of other athlete who don't know when to quit. He should have quit 2 years ago and went out on top. This year will be a repeat of last year and he will have more interceptions then touchdowns. I hate to say that but it's reality.

Packers should have a good year. Last year the injuries were just crazy. Guys were going down every single week. They lost like 8 starters or something, and even the backups. Their most injuries were at running back receiver, which is why Favre had such a bad year. With all the people back from injuries there's no reason for them not to do well. They aren't in a very tough division either. Bears are okay, but they shouldn't have the same record and the Lions just suck. Vikes are decent. I wouldn't be surprised if Packers are in the playoffs with a wildcard.

Uncle billy come on! Look at nick saban he took the dolphins to a 9-7 season in his premier season with gus frerotte i believe. or A. J. Feely key word sucky QB. Mike McCarthy is a decent coach. Defense will be unbelievable and will be one of the top 5 defenses in the league yes I'm for sure. Quote me on that. Greg Jennings is a great complement to Donald Driver who took most of the load last year. I would love to see Gado start. And the line is looking better than ever, even though they have two rookies. I say an 11-5 season for the pack and divisional playoffs.

If you think 7-9 is a pleasant farewell, then yes, it will be the best thing for him. The Packers won't be good for years to come. Sorry. They just don't have the talent on offense, even though their defense is above average.

On a personal level, yes. He commands the respect of his peers after such a fabulous career. On a team level, no. The Pack still have a long way to go to rebuild and have to give some more tutelage to the QB with the unenviable task of replacing Favre.

I don't think the Packers will be very good so it could be a painful good bye for Brett. new coaches rarely do well in the NFL and the talent just isn't there.

Given that they'll be lucky to go 5-11, no, it won't be.
But John Madden will still give Farvie enough head to make him think he's still worth something.
