oh god YES YES YES. he is the best song writer in the world past present and future. morrissey has touched many peoples hearts and mine. iv been a fan since the smiths days and still today. he is the most funniest lyric writer iv ever heard and my god when i first heard girlfriend in a coma i just rolled about laughing. people call him miserable but isn't his songs about life and meaning and things that we all should think about IE TRUE LIFE SONGS WITH A MEANING. instead of this dance shite.
yes he may seam cold he may even be one of the most depressing people you ll ever know but he like i is one of the last truly British people you ll wouldn't like to know...........................

Good singer/song writer but I wouldn't go as far as describing him as a genius - I think Sir Isaac Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci and Albert Einstein fall into that category

I would'nt go so far as to call him a genius but his lyrics are probably the best you can listen too. I think he's very genuine and passionate about what he sings about. None of this "I looovvve youuu baaabeee" crap. A great wordsmith and quite funny now that i think of it. Respect to Moz!

of course he is, and doesn't he just know it. having been a fan since the early eighties, i would say he is unique and untouchable in his field, it's just a shame that many folk find him morose, that's exactly what he wants folk to think, when in fact alot of his stuff is done tongue in cheek, except folk fail to see this because of his reputation, best song writer ever, but that's just my opinion
