I have a gold medalion my grandfather used to wear when he was alive... it's a religious symbol, and though im not religious, I am glad I have it. It reminds me of how much I miss him... sad and happy at the same time.

My Granfather's Mamosa tree, he planted for me before he passed away and it gets more beautiful with each passing year. Because my grandfather meant the world to me.

I have a very large US flag that my Great great grand father bought for my grandfather at a parade. the unusual thing is that the flag has only 47 stars - there was only a period of 6 months in 1912 when there were 47 states
