first time in years....this summer....I worked out last winter, and am in good shape and I think they look great...I get no complaints from the guys, but my women friends say I look like a s l u t ...that they are too low, too short, and too tight... so how old is too old...if I still look hot in them?

Maybe your women friends are jelouse (you know what I mean) I say if you've got a great body at 40 who should tell you what to wear or not wear. I'm going to be 39 in 9 days and I still try to look hot. Why not,it won't last forever. One day we'll wake up and be 60 and old, then what??? Then you'll wish you would have worn those shorts, Right?? So I say, YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!! And forget about what your so called friends think.

Oh, lordy, you are probably one of those women who walk around with the long hair and short skirts and look ridiculous for their age. No one past their early 20's should wear short shorts. Just the fact that you still call them "hot pants" is a giveaway that you are too old. You can wear bermuda shorts or capris and look very nice but don't make yourself the focus of ridicule.

Over 40 is too old.
Sorry sweetheart, but those styles are for the 20 somethings. You can get clothes that will enhance your body, make you look like a million bucks but they're designed for women "our" age.

Your too old to wear them im sorry. But i think about 30 is the latest. Youl look a lot better in something more sophistacated and adult. Try and learn a thew style tips girl!

I think you should wear what makes you feel good .Although I do think that there are things younger women can wear that is just not appropriate for an older woman. Makes you look like you are trying to be down with the younger girls. Bottom line is,if you feel good,why does it matter what your friends say? Are you dressing to please them or yourself ?

If you look good and like the look, wear what you want.
That being said, consider that people are stupid and will judge you by what they see. How do you want to be judged by the soccer mom croud.
Wear what you want, but keep that in mind. You have to live around them.

You shouldn't wear them even if they look great - find something that makes you look great that's more age-appropriate. You can still look sexy without looking slutty.
