My ex used to do that to me. His reason was that it cost money to make a international call. He was very stingy. That's why he's the ex now. But I would get upset, but later I would get used to it and it wouldn't bother me. Because I knew the reason why. But in your case, I would think what the hell is going on. Well, at least have the decency to call in when you get to the place and call in when you plan to come home.

The more you think about it the more ghosts will move in on your mind and cause chaos there. Unless you have some sort of doubt or proof that you don't trust your husband being away, then don't worry. Find something to keep ya self occuppied, go see a friend for a cuppa or movie, get a good hobby for yourself to do when he is away. If you can chat with him about it when he's home do that, maybe he could offer a help to you as well, maybe just to mention your fears might be enough to have him call when he's away. Cheers!

If your worried theres probably concern, you know him better than we do. Was he always like this? are you finding girls underwear in his suitcase?

I will offer this up, I travel all the time and am on a 2 to 3 time a day call average with my wife. I like my wife though and like to talk to her. I'll call and tell her I just saw an old car like the one we used to have ion college, stupid shitt like that.

Remember not everyone is the same, if he's quiet at home or much the same when hes around don't expect more when he's not.

Well, I'm a male.

If I assume myself to be a married female of a NRI husband, then definitely I would have patience and wait for his call. If he doesn't calls even once daily then I would call him and let him know that how uncomfortable I am without him physically and emotionally. Therefore at this stage I would ask him to call me atleast to remind me that he cares about me, he loves me and he is responsible towards me.

Find out what the hell he is up to and why he is not calling! I wouldn't put up with that. There is no reason why he can't call and check in on you to make sure your OK and to let you know he is OK, I would either have a huge talk with him or find someone who takes the time and cares!

What is the time difference? Do you live in different countries or is he military or something? Let him know. Communication is the key to a relationship as they say, so let him know the lack of it is a problem for you.

I'd be a little suspicious, but then again, maybe it's nothing, perhaps he's too tired, or just had a busy, hectic day.
I wouldn't pass it off as nothing though, I'd keep an eye out for it, and see if it continues, and if it does.. take prompt action!

Errr.. I don't really mind. I have my own things to do when my husband's away.. and so does he. I'm sure he has his reason. My husband's 7hrs ahead of my local time. So it's kinda like.. I wake up.. he's at work.. I go to work.. he gets off.. and he goes to bed.. I'm going home.. So we talk in the weekend :) ..
