Canada is a relatively safe country to live in and I thought people came here from other countries to get away from the conflicts at home so why bring them here and put the rest of us in jeopardy of losing our freedom to even walk down a street without becoming involved with their bigotry and hatred of each other

There is a very small minority of people who come from cultures that are different than what Canadian culture is that try to inflict hatred on each other. It is sad that some people do enter into our lovely country and try to incite hatred but we are not alone here. Different cultures go to many spots in the world and bring with them their indifferences.

You are correct when you state that Canada is a relatively safe country, and in my opinion the most beautiful country in the world. But I would disagree with you when you say that we cannot walk down the street without becoming involved with bigotry and hatred from other cultures. It is sad that these things do occur but we as a nation are very tolerant and hopefully we can help these cultures settle their disputes and live in peace in their new found home territory.

About 70% of immigrants are usually rejects and low lifes of their original societies. Because the US government (and probably Canadian) is very controversial in executing its laws, the nations become a safe haven for these people and crooks.

Unfortunately, these North American nations, somehow, tend to be very harsh on decent immigrants; thereby encouraging only those desperate immigrants who eventually become a problem to the nationals. I sometimes believe this is a form of propaganda - encouraging the very desperate, who will be easily impressed by handouts and in the future become willing agents. People simply do not exhibit proper civil behaviors they never learned or were never taught.

Some do, most don't. In Canada though, we definitely have to take a look at our Immigration Policy. It's fine to have immigrants come into the country, but we HAVE to have the resources to sustain them, and at the present time we don't, and speaking for myself, I cannot afford higher taxes, thank you very much.

I've lived in Canada all my life, born and raised, over 40 years now.....and I have no idea what the hell you're talking about!
Yes, some people are rude and bigoted, but I've met many born and raised Canadians who are the same way. Look at the intolerance of our native Indians, I've heard way more crap about them they I have about any other race that lives here.
Not sure what you're referring to.

immigrants have baggage, that's something towns & workplaces are learning. people assume the immigrant has a clean slate but many times these people are trouble. we had a case at my company where 2 asians got into a fight, after some investigation it was learned they were sworn enemies back in vietnam.

we are fast heading for disaster!!!! when people forget God then they think they are all superior. No matter what your language, caste or creed, put God first in your life and then all things will fall in place.
