Not going to happen. Blackberry devices need to access the RIM/Blackberry Servers located in Waterloo, Ontario. Once a Blackberry gets to the servers, it can then browse the web, but without access to the servers, you're not going to get anywhere. If you don't buy the Blackberry Data Plan, your Blackberry will say across the top "Data Connection Refused".
So you pretty much have to buy the data plan, or all you've got is a phone with a keyboard that's big. The point to having a Blackberry is so you can use the web/sms/email. Email is a key part of the Blackberry.

T Zones is basically a web portal for T Mobile customers to access ring tones, wallpapers, mega tones, game apps and news/sports/headlines. You don't need a Blackberry data service plan to access it. It's FREE with your normal service but the cost of ring tones, wallpapers, mega tones and so on is a different story.
If you already have an active account then all you need do is setup up the phone to access the portal.
If you're extremely familiar with your phone and know how to access the settings you can do it easily.

These are the portal and port setting you'll need to access T Zones:

The portal address:
wap.voicestream.com

Proxey server:
216.155.165.050

Port setting:
9201
