People who have been raped really have to continue on with their lives on not live in fear, so I'd say that this is fine, depending on her age. Though she really should be careful about who she is having sex with; that's what really matters in this situation because she needs someone who will treat her right and stay faithful to her.

I think you should be scared! I would be. If somebody went in my house and raped me and then in a couple of years do the same thing to somebody you know like your BF

I would be scared and instead of them waiting for a couple of years they should at least tell somebody eventhough they might be scared and hurt so that it won't happen to another person.

I cannot imagine the trauma of rape, but I can understand the need for one who was attacked to need time to heal, and need to take it on her or his (since men can be raped, too) own terms.

Counseling may be helpful, as will finding good male figures in your life.
