Any savings account. Just ask your employer for a direct deposit form. Most banks have accounts with no minimum to start. Good luck

You can have your wages paid into any account that you choose, as long as they have a sort code and account number or bankroll number. The only difficulty will be if you want to set up direct debits and standing orders from your account, as you are not allowed to do this from a savings account.

Are you talking about retirement accounts (i.e. IRA, 401K)?

Or something like a savings account at a bank?

For retirement accounts, you can find information on any larger bank's website (etrade, jp morgan chase, wells fargo). You can usually get started for a miniscule amount & a commitment to contribute periodicly.

For a savings account, go to any bank branch. Opening balance may be as little as $0-$50.

I might be wrong but I don't think you can get your wages paid into a savings account.

Have you contacted EmigrantDirect.com? It takes only $100 to open an account with them. The only problem is that you'll need to have at least a checking account open at a local bank so you can electronically transfer funds from Emigrant to your local bank. That would be the only way to access cash from Emigrant because their savings account doesn't have a checking feature.

Also, check with your payroll department to make sure that they have the capability to do a direct deposit. Not all employers have it.

Alliance and Leicester. Pay in £500 per month minimum into their current account and get 5% interest on up to £2500. Then transfer up to £250 per month for a year into their savings account and get 10% interest! Really is the best!
