I just started taking birth control pills and I am on my 4th green pill and my period has not started but I am having a few cramps in my side but I had them since my 1st green pill what should I do. My boyfriend is leaving for military duty in less than a week and my friend told me to test about 14 days after your missed period.What should I do?

I have never experienced this with the pill I just got off the pill in late december and I just started in july so it hasn't even been a year and my period usually is normal on the pill. A seven day flow kinda light medium. And they are the same pills I took in december.

its probally just the pills hun, wait til u miss ur period atleast 4 days after then test

The cramping in your side after taking the first pill, and continuing, should be checked. Chances are you're not pregnant, but you really should see your doctor.

You should take a test just to be safe. You can buy tests that you can use 5 days BEFORE you miss your period and they are 99% accurate so you should be ok to test now.

I think it's just a side effect from the pill I am sure you will be fine.

if you just started it is probably the pills but if this continues you should take the test and if your not pregnat then you should go ask a doctor.

Get a home pregnancy test. Walmart has the cheapest one-Equate brand. You can also get a free one at a women's health clinic.
