This will be difficult for your friend to hear, remember that. Your timing and your gentleness about it is crucial. Be sure you are someplace with no distractions where the two of you can talk privately. Begin by saying that it is difficult for you to share what you are going to share, but you feel you must share this because you care about her... then... as gently as you can let her know what her boyfriend is doing. Do expect that she will most likely be hurt, and angry, she might even direct it towards you. Try to understand the hurt she is going to feel.

My boyfriend did this to me in highschool and everyone knew about it but no-one told me. You know, had they told me then I would not have believed it, so keep that in mind when you tell her. It is up to your friend to do what she must with the information you provide. Good Luck, and you're being a great friend by letting her know.

How well do you know this friend?
I understand that you feel obliged to tell her, but you may want to sit this one out.
You will be the one she will hate for delivering such horrible news. You will be the one she will hate for knowing this & not telling her.

It is a no-win situation.
I suggest you go to the man. Tell him you know. And that if he doesn't tell your friend the truth, you will be forced to. See what happens, before you take the risk.

You need to be careful, but be honest. And be prepared for her not to believe you. I wouldn't tell if it is just a rumor you heard. If you know it for a fact, you can bring it up to her.

be absolutely sure. and be prepared for her to be mad at YOU. he will lie to her about it and she will not want to believe you. maybe you should let him know that he has been caught. tell him that if he doesn't tell her you will. just be patient and she will eventually see thru him. don't make her beg for your forgiveness. this is going to be hard for her. if you have to tell her, just be direct and truthful. godd luck :)

i would first ask how her relationship is goin, and then proceed to tell her the truth. It will hurt her more if it keeps going on.

gently. But you'd better have some hard evidence first because if you don't, you could end up losing your friend.
