I don't remember much except yes, it had graphic description, puts pictures in your head more gory than what you see on screen. The dinos seem to like to kill by disembowelment.

It's actually a pretty easy book to read. You can skip a few pages now and then and still get the gist.

Book: John Hammond gets eaten by Compys. The little girl attacked in Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World movie was attacked in the first book. More gore in the book.

I haven't read the book in years but what I can remember is: rk Book:

-A juvenile T-Rex (larger than the one with a broken leg in the movie)are in the book. The juvenile kills someone and actually "plays" with him the way a cat would.
-Elements of the 3nd movie were actually in Jurassic Park book, such as the pteradactly enclosure
-The group tries to escape the dangerous part of the island by taking a boat down the river...and the T-Rex chases them and even enters the river (they see his nose sticking above the water)

at the end of the book the old guy (the one who built the park) gets killed. since this is for a summer reading project, I suggest you read the book rather than rely on the answers you receive here; it's actually a pretty good book!
