I'm looking at your photo - at what point did you decide you're an unhealthy weight? You look fine to me.

If you really want to lose some weight, adopt a healthy diet. Cut out sodas (even diet sodas) and drink more water and unsweetened fruit juice. Keep a food diary for a couple of weeks, and see if there is anything you could cut down on - if you're a fan of ice cream, for example, try to trim down to an ice cream every four days instead of every three days. Little changes make a big difference when they stack up. Eat more fruits and vegetables, and less processed food. Try to avoid high-fructose corn syrup if you can.

Also, adopt an exercise routine. Try running or using an elliptical machine for half an hour each day. As you get better, add speed/resistance and time. Begin a gentle weightlifting or musclebuilding routine. You're probably going for tone, so do many reps with lighter weights. Do crunches and leg lifts to isolate your abs.

Remember that muscle weighs more than fat for the same volume of it, so you may lose inches but gain weight - don't worry about that. Eventually you will start to shed pounds as well.

Unless you have a hormonal problem which predisposes you to immense obesity (like the 500lb men you see on TV) the only way to be slim and trim is to exercise regularly and eat healthy foods which are low in fat -you can't sit around the house all day infront of Yahoo Answers and eat chocolates, chips and other fatty foods and expect to be slim.

You don't lose weight over night, if you exercise for a month and don't see any significant weight loss and toning you probably cheated yourself, didn't eat right and are expecting things too soon - results can take up to 6 months. You have to keep at it. Unless you're lucky to be one of those people who stay slim no matter what then you need discipline and an exercise routine and diet plan that works for you.

An old wive's tell, but so far it is proving to help. It supposedly gives your metabolism a kick-start. If you take a shot of unpasturized apple cidar vinegar with every meal and anytime you crave sugar or snacks, you will start to shed the pounds. You can dilute it in 8 oz. of water if you don't like the taste. I have already lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks. It has worked for many people. Give it a try, it could work for you! P.S. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!
And honestly... you can't take anything to magically help you loose weight. But supplements help. However, YOU HAVE TO EXERCISE. If you hate exercising because you are out of shape, start with walking 30 mins a day and slowly increase that to an hour. Soon you will feel better about exercising because it won't be so uncomfortable. Better to do it in the morning but if you don't have time, do it when you first get home from school/work before your butt ever hits the couch. GOOD LUCK!!!

you don't appear heavy, but if you are serious. You need to get on a regiment of exercise and a good diet, not starvation either. I'm talking about cutting down on carbs and eating more greens and drinking large amounts of water. But nothing great will happen for you unless you include a exercise program, start with walking and very light weights, then work up to the a stairmaster when you have a good handle on your breathing and your stamina is stronger.

Good luck!

You need to burn more calories than what you consume in a day. For example, let's say you require about 2200 calories a day just to maintain your current weight. If you were to simply cut out 500 calories of food in a day, that would mean a loss of 1 pound a week. 1 pound = 3500 calories. If you were to add in exercise you could up that to a loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week. Which is a healthy amount to lose in a week.

Just cut out all processed refined flour and sugars. Substitute whole grains and fruits. Eat small snacks 6 times instead of 2 or 3 large meals.

Slimming is practical math, use extra energy than you eat. Simple methods to cut back the energy to your vitamin might be minimize on sugar fully and preclude meat. Ways to make use of extra energy might be constant endeavor, consuming extra water, inexperienced tea, consuming extra peppers (to make your metabolism quicker), heavy breakfast.
