My missus has got the blues, nothing specific just fed up in general. I would take her out to the cinema and dinner but we can't get a babysitter, any other ideas I could do this evening to cheer her up?

Put the baby to bed run her a luxurious bath (get some nice bubble bath or oil) take her a glass of wine or cuppa whilst you make her some tea, or get her fave takeaway. Rent a comedy and rub her feet, feed her her fave sweeties, tell her you love her. Its not what you do but just the fact you are trying will cheer her up no end. My husband does little personal things for me that i appreciate more than big gestures. What a lovely hubby you are xx

Get some flowers on the way home, read to her, something nice that will make her smile even if its just her favourite story from when she was little. Get out some photographs of a time that made her really happy, maybe your wedding day, tell her that you love her and maybe tell her that you asked a whole bunch of strangers from across the world what you could do to make her happy because you were that worried about her, that will make her feel very loved and cared for! Good luck, Bobbin

I'm feeling exactly like your wife this week, but with a few triggers to blame,

either cook for HER or get a takeaway, make her feel loved, just this question posted alone shows you care, if i saw my husband had done this online i'd feel better already, its really sweet.
gte the kids to bed? while shes in the bath? then just cuddle up on the sofa (or bedroom) and let her be quiet i think, not inane chatter, i need quiet. maybe she's feeling like that too?

Tell her to sit down with her feet up and cook her a fabulous meal do all the washing up tidy the kitchen whilst she just sits in front of the tv. its a bit short notice but maybe get her some flowers and set the table with candles even if the kids are there a romantic meal is always appreciated. and no matter how much she says that she doesn't want flowers she does!!

Find a babysitter!!! She needs a break.

Write her a love poem... that'll make her weepy though.

Draw her a bath... give her a night off from responding to kids... make her dinner.... really talk to her.... give hr a massage with scented oils.... buy her something she wants.... watch a comedy special and hope she laughs...

Send her some flowers at work or home, when you are not there. Then bring home a takeaway and a bottle of wine, and give her loads of love.

The flowers will melt her anyway - always works when my boyf does that!!
