I've gone to search engines & looked under mermaids, mermen, merchildren, merpeople, curses, legends, myths, & folklore. Id there anything else I can look under. I got some great sites from people on here, but I haven't gotten enough to write my story yet. Can anyone help?

I just want to know anything that might help with a story. Legends, myths, curses, folktales. Anything that you can think of.

Also does anyone know of any movies about mermaids that I can watch to get some ideas, besides Disney & Hans Christen Anderson's Little Mermaid?

If you told us what type of info you are looking for that you haven't found yet - that might help. Mermaids is a rather large collection of data - What piece haven't you found that you need to know about?

And, just as a point to ponder - When writing a story - you can make up anything you want - the key, make it sound possible, believable. If you are having trouble making something up - get a hold of me, I'm great at it!

I don't know of a good website, but I do have a book recommendation for you: Magickal Mermaids And Water Creatures: Invoke The Magick Of The Waters, by D.J Conway. This book is full of mermaid info. You can buy it from Amazon fairly cheap. Good luck in your search. :-)
