what do you think of a 12 year old seeing pirates of the carribian 2? she watched the first one but i heard the secound one is to old for a 12 year old. She has seen all of the harry potters.they didnt scare her.

My 11 year old nephew likes all of the pirates of the carribian movies

It's probably not too bad for a 12 year old. Though, be prepared for a few scenes with disturbing scenes. Dead (and living) pirates in cages being pecked at by crows. One crow eats a dead man's eye. Later in the movie, one of the main characters has his shirt torn off and he's whipped. Lots more slitting of throats and such, though they never show it "on screen"
Despite what some people are saying, it was more violent and dark than the first one.

let her watch the movie! it is no more scary than any of the harry potter movies. if she saw the first one i doubt see why she could be scared in the second one. it is rated pg 13 and she is twelve years old. if you are concerned that she will get scared watch it first and decide then if it is appropriate.

im 12 and i saw pirates of the carribean 2 it didnt scare me just the whole sea creature slimy stuff thing is a little gross but it should be fine for her its probably even less violent than the first one

If she saw the first one, I don't see why not the second one.
It was a good movie, not any worse than the first for violence language or sexual content. Actually wasn't that bad at all.

smirks it's just a nice movie let them watch.
over protection of a child is going to make them weakminded as an adult.
go with them, enjoy it with them, tell them about things if they have questions.
the problem is parents and guardians void them from contact with the world and that just stunts many..
like i said education and getting them out there with some advice on the side helps alot more.

My nephews saw it and they are 7 and 9. They loved it and weren't scared at all. I say it's okay for kids- it's a good movie.

it is okay cuz i went 2 go c it and im 11 and my niece did 2 shes 6 she'll be fine take her 2 go c it it a good movie!!!!!!!!!!!
