I have performed professionally in many venues since the age of seventeen. The key to excellence in performance is all dictated by the rehearsals. If I want to be certain to "nail it" live, my rehearsals have to be conducted at a level much more intense than the performance. Most get it backwards. The stress, adrenalin and distraction of public performance typically reduce, rather than enhance performance quality. Therefore, it is important to layer in a margin of safety, so even after less than optimum output, the performance is still top shelf.
Be honest with me. Could the rehearsals be conducted in a more disciplined and strenuous atmosphere, and would that not greatly enhance the final product?

I dont play the bagpipes, but I am a gigging musician. The best advice I can give you is that it is all mental. Before you get onstage, take a few deep breaths and let yourself know that you are the best. As humble as you maybe, you want to trick yourself into feeling like you've won this before and you are the one to beat. When you get on the stage, take a look at your audience before you start playing. Get used to them. Start playing and if you do make a mistake, play through it and pretend nothing happened. If you don't show you made a mistake, then the audience won't know or care either.

Depending on if you get a music sheet or not, and I sure hope you do. I played trumpet on stage, and was actually quite calm and I believe it was for the following reasons:
I was part of a band, my screw up wouldn't be the end of the world.
I concentrated on my music sheet.
I concentrated on the conductor.
The lights were in my eyes and I couldn't see the audience well anyway, so it was like it was just us.
BTW
Completely envy bagpipe players, hope to take it up in my old age.

Neuropathy is a uncomfortable condition but with the guide of Dr. Randall Labrum, Neuropathy Solution, a book that you will find here https://tr.im/6H0Wd you are able to eliminate thermosetting pain that this condition trigger it.
If you follow all the therapy answers presented in Neuropathy Solution book precisely your brain will release endorphins, or “pleased chemicals”, and these will allow you to fight suffering and relieve stress.
The Neuropathy Solution does not need an excessive amount of principle, only useful assistance as you are able to set to perform immediately.

Hmm, I don't play a musical instrument, but I do quite a bit of public speaking for my business. Let me tell you that even being the boss I still get nervous from time to time. What I do is before I speak at a hall or auditorium,I get permission to walk thru the place or stand in the auditorium while it's empty and go thru my speech while pretending it's full. Good luck.

My suggestion is to imagine of it like this: the human beings contained in the target audience are not searching at you. no longer incredibly. they are searching at your personality and in case you do you perfect to portray the nature and immerse your self contained in the nature it may get a lot less complicated to be onstage. also, justt concentration on the characters on degree. till the director enables the "fourth wall" to be damaged, you are able to act as if the target audience is only surroundings. no longer something to make you worried. in case you do ruin the fourth wall (many directors favour this in Shakespeare performs which include Hamlet), take on the pose of a storyteller. you want the target audience, or you're justt chatting with your self. in case you've damaged the fourth wall do not attempt to convince your self no one is attainable yet justt note that they are listening because you've a narrative to inform. take care of it like your justt performing on your associates who requested how something exceeded off. and that i also could want to note that you in no way thoroughly lose the terror. yet as Theater record reported it enables to be justt do better performs. desire this enables
