the bits i can remember... hawkwind, hendrix, the pink fairies, zeppelin, wishbone ash, emerson lake and palmer, the floyd, genesis...i saw them in 1973 and it cost 75p... its great being older! floyd at earls court for a fiver, oh those were the days.
and the list goes on. robin trower, bridge of sighs. sabbath, stones, deep purple, the who, george througgood and teh destroyers...(might have been the 80s) and the soul... in those days it was all hair beards and bikes... soul was for the townies, nowadays, i love it... oh the sound of vietnam. rockin from the delta to the dmz... too many to list. detroit soul... the most seductive sounds of teh seventies...
and rory gallagher... taste. tony machphee, the groundnhogs. zappa, bowie, t rex, slade. janis joplin, doors, roxy music, Yes. uriah heep..listen to gypsy... remembering the riff is standing the hairs on the back of my neck... it used to upset me that i saw the sixties thru the garden gate, looking bcak i think i did alright.
