Be consistent, Repubes. Please be as extreme in labeling yourself as you label your opponent.
Let's see...war mongering, superior nationalist attitudes, rage over non-politcal issues instead of thoughtful resolution of important political issues....yep....sounds like fascism to me.

Non issues: gay marriage, flag burning, "Under God", abortion.
These are only meant to push the panic button in John Q Voter.
Important issues: embryonic stem cell research, national healthcare, illegal immigration, lowering gas prices.
I fail to see how we could invade Iraq (an oil rich nation) and pay the most for gas as any other time (collectively) in our history. That alone is reason enough to boot the Republicans. What a failure the MIddle Eastern policy is.

Not quite, at this time in history, the Republican Party is traveling on the left shoulder of the political highway, the Democrats are in the left ditch. Very few are actually traveling on the road towards what is best for America.
You see, we live in a greed motivated throw away society, fueled by mindless consumerism. Our stores are filled with junk products from around the world, products that do not last, are not supposed to last, time wasters in the sense that time is continually wasted to replace that junk. We live in an era that will become known as the "ME, me, me, era", gotta have this, gotta have that, I want that, I deserve this, mine, mine, mine. And, I want it NOW.

Right you got a problem with that?
Hey this country was on the brink of disaster when Neut took over Now the protofascists have brought this Nation back from the edge.
Look at how well we are doing. Military spending is up. Weapons contracts are easy to get and open ended. Education is down where it should be. and New jails are being built in every state.
What could be better?

Despite the important differences from other right-wing ideologies, fascism is almost universally considered to be a part of "the right." This is somewhat parallel to the customary inclusion of Marxism-Leninism (and, in particular, that of the Stalinist Soviet Union and Maoist China) in "the left." Nonetheless, fascism differs significantly from other politics that are usually classified as right wing, and most right-wingers (even many far right groups) reject any association with it on the grounds that fascism is collectivist and statist rather than individualist. Most left-wingers (even many communists) reject any association with Stalinism and Maoism as well

It's pretty obvious that few of the folks here -- including the poster -- have any clue what they are talking about.
Communists and Fascists the same, sealss3006? You're joking, right? Better take a couple of POL-SCI courses, pal! Or at least hit the wikis and get semi-educated!

I'm with Ben S on this one. I have never called a single liberal or Democrat on here a communist...unless of course, their thinking is of a communistic influence. For example, take all the money from the rich and give it to the poor so that everyone is equal. That is communism.

communism has gotten a bad rep .socialism is also in the ctegory of communism and you are right conservatives are fascists only concerned with there own needs and wants .
Conservatives talk like they are a group of concerned people .
WHEN infact the only concern they have is themselves and how best to accumulate money from the backs of the poor.
